Ezekiel Gilbert Ukpong, was born and raised in the vibrant town of Uyo Afaha Nkan in Ediene, Ikono Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. My roots are deeply embedded in the rich cultural heritage of the region, and I am proud to call it my home.
My educational journey began at Methodist Township School, Sanni Ogun Road, Ikot Ekpene, where I obtained my First School Leaving Certificate from 1995 to 2005. This foundational period laid the groundwork for my future academic pursuits. I then proceeded to Comprehensive High School, Ikpe Mbak Eyop in Obot Akara LGA, Akwa Ibom State, where I completed my secondary education with a West African Senior School Certificate (WASSCE) from 2006 to 2012.
In pursuit of higher education, I enrolled at the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) in 2022, studying Business Administration (BSc). Balancing work and studies, I successfully completed my degree in 2025, further equipping myself with the knowledge and skills necessary for my professional growth.
My faith journey is an integral part of my life. As a devoted Christian, I strive to live according to the teachings of Christ, embodying love, compassion, and integrity in all aspects of my life. My relationship with God is built on prayer, Bible study, and fellowship with other believers. Through my faith, I find strength, guidance, and purpose, which enables me to navigate life's challenges with confidence and hope, especially in playing my musical Keyboard.
My career with TotalEnergies Marketing Nigeria Plc. began in 2008 when I started as a Pump Attendant. Through hard work, dedication, and a commitment to excellence, I was gradually promoted through various roles. My progression within the company is a testament to my ability to adapt, learn, and take on new challenges.
In 2018, I was appointed as an Assistant VMS Manager, serving at Unicem/Lafarge Cement Company in Cross Rivers State, Calabar. My tenure in this role was marked by significant achievements, which ultimately led to my promotion to VMS Manager/Dealer in November 2022. Since then, I have been deployed to various key locations, including Nigeria Breweries Ama Plc (NBL) in Enugu State, where I served from November 2022 to June 2024. Currently, I am stationed at the West Africa Container Terminal (WACT) Onne Rivers State as a VMS Manager/Dealer for TotalEnergies Marketing Nigeria Plc.
I am blessed to have a loving and supportive family. My marriage is built on the principles of love, respect, and mutual understanding. I am married to Mrs Susan Ezekiel Gilbert and blessed with a beautiful daughter, Evelyn Ezekiel Gilbert. Together with my spouse, we navigate life's journey, sharing joys and challenges, and supporting each other in our individual and collective growth. Our relationship is a source of strength and inspiration, and we are committed to building a home filled with love, peace, and harmony.
Entrepreneurial Ventures In February 2024, under the guidance of Mr. Erasmus from the NBL HR Department, I established UES Gilberto Company. This venture was a result of strategic planning and quick action, and it has been a significant milestone in my professional journey. As the founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of UES Gilberto Company, I have been able to leverage my experience and expertise to drive growth and success.
Reflecting on my journey, I am grateful for the opportunities that have shaped me into the person I am today. From my humble beginnings in Uyo Afaha Nkan to my current role at TotalEnergies, I have remained committed to hard work, integrity, and continuous learning. As I look to the future, I am excited about the prospects of further growth, both personally and professionally. I am confident that my experiences, coupled with my determination, will continue to drive me towards achieving my goals.
